When Will The Insurance Industry Catch On That MFI Applied Fire Science On Lumber Lowers Loss And Premium Reductions Will Create Demand For Safer Buildings With Less Risk During Construction And Long After
Third Suspicious Fire in 2019
TREDYFFRIN TOWNSHIP, Pa. (WPVI) -- More than 150 firefighters were called to Tredyffrin Township, Chester County after a massive blaze ripped through a building under construction on Sunday evening.
As is typical of all the raw wood frame multifamily fires, the interior walls and floors collapsed during the fire. "We did have a partial collapse on the first floor on the southern side of the building, which also hindered fire attack," said Chief Andrea Testa with the Paoli Fire Company.
Interesting quote from Chief Testa: "No stairways. Floors with holes in them. A lot of construction debris. That and the wind conditions have made this very difficult."
It’s not the wind in this concealed building that drove this fire it’s the energy raw lumber creates when there is no fire protection on it.
The USA fights wild fires like a third world country kind of like we build wood framed buildings when no chemistry is proactively used to stall the fires energy in advance.
All California hillsides are green now and come August they become dry field that water and firefighters with shovels and racks can not defend or slow its advance until new clean fire inhibitors are proactively sprayed to save homes.
